Bridget Watson-Favaro, RN(EC), NP-PHC, BScN, IIWCC, and a founder of WFCC Medical, became a cannabis advocate due to her experiences battling multiple sclerosis (MS) and epilepsy. Bridget found that her chronic conditions were not improving with traditional medications such as opioids and anti-inflammatories, and turned to cannabis as an alternative. Medical cannabis changed Bridget’s life, allowing her to live with more freedom and with less pain.

Now, Bridget’s goal through WFCC Medical is to help as many patients as possible have access to medical cannabis in order to manage their pain without relying on opioids and other medications. As a nurse practitioner specializing in medical cannabis, Bridget provides telemedicine consultations to authorize patients access to medicinal cannabis.
Rick Found Medical Cannabis After a Hip Replacement
Bridget’s husband Rick also discovered the myriad of benefits medical cannabis offers for combating chronic pain. After undergoing a hip replacement and being prescribed opioids, Rick chose medical cannabis instead to avoid the often destructive nature of such drugs. After experiencing the benefits of cannabis, Bridget and Rick formed WFCC Medical to help bring natural relief to others with chronic pain hoping to avoid opioids and other such pharmaceuticals.
