Will my Health Care Provider need information from my primary care provider?

No. The intake form responses will give the Health Care provider the information they need to treat you.

How much does it Cost?

Our Clinic is a Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic. Unfortunately, Health Canada does not allow Nurse practitioners to Bill OHIP. Therefore we are a fee-for-service Medical Clinic (to learn more about our costs/fees see our booking section, or please contact our Clinic Manager to hear more about our Specialized Services. Will my telemedicine appointment be Private?

Yes. Our secure platform is compliant with all Canadian standards including PHIPA/HIPA/, PIPEDA, and PCI. This is in place to ensure your information remains private. Our video consultations are encrypted, never recorded or stored.

Can I submit a claim to my health insurance provider?

You can submit a claim, Nurse Practitioners are Registered Health Care Providers, and many Insurance Plans accept them as Recognized Allied Health Care Providers/Specialists. However, WFCC Medical Cannot ensure or guarantee any reimbursements. 

Will I get a prescription?

The Health Care Provider will use their knowledge, skill, and judgment to decide on the treatment plan, and this may include a prescription medication if they deem it medically necessary.

    Can I get my prescription sent to a local pharmacy?

    Yes. Our Health Care Providers will electronically send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

    Dear Valued Patients

    We would like to inform you that WFCC Medical Clinic will be Closed from May 6 to May 17, 2024 (inclusive). During this period, our team will be unavailable for regular appointments and inquiries.

    Emergency Situations:

    • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please proceed to your nearest Emergency Department or call 911 immediately.

    Non-Urgent Care:

    • For non-urgent matters, we kindly request that you:

      • Leave a voicemail message at 905-380-4371.
      • Seek care at a Walk-In Clinic or an Urgent Care Clinic if needed.

    Appointment Requests Upon Return:

    • If you require an appointment Once we open on May 20th, 2024, please email us at info@wfccmedical.ca, and we will schedule your visit promptly upon our arrival back.
